FAQ

Are my files uploaded?

No. Parsing, formatting and repackaging all happen in your browser. Your file never leaves your device.

Which files are supported?

Only .xlsx. Legacy .xls files and password-protected files are not supported; save the file as .xlsx in Excel or remove the password first. For Word and PowerPoint files, use Word Formatting Cleanup and PowerPoint Formatting Cleanup.

What does it change?

All cells get the same font and size. When the options are on, the first row of each sheet becomes a bold header with a fill color, and existing cells get thin borders.

Why are there no line or paragraph spacing settings?

Excel cells have no line or paragraph spacing, so this page does not show those settings.

Will my data or formulas change?

No. Only fonts, font sizes, borders, the header fill and theme colors change. Cell values and formulas stay the same.

What is the file size limit?

Up to 100 MB, with no more than 512 MB after decompression.
