FAQ

How is the PDF created?

The tool lays out your Markdown as a document, shows a preview, then opens your browser’s print dialog. Choose “Save as PDF” as the destination to save it. The PDF is produced by your browser, not by a server.

How do I save a PDF on a phone?

On iPhone, tap print, then use the share button in the print preview to save to Files. In Chrome on Android, choose “Save as PDF” at the top of the print screen. In-app browsers (LINE, Facebook and others) may not support printing, so open this page in Safari or Chrome first.

Will Chinese, Japanese or Korean text display correctly?

Yes. The document is laid out with your device’s system fonts, exactly as on screen, and your browser writes the text into the PDF when printing.

How do images and links appear in the PDF?

To avoid network requests, images from the web are not loaded; their alt text and address are printed instead. Embedded data: images are shown normally. Link addresses are printed after the link text.

Can I change the paper size and margins?

Yes, choose the paper size, scale and margins in the print dialog. The default margin is 16 mm.

What happens to HTML tags inside the Markdown?

They are not interpreted and are shown as text; links with unsafe schemes such as javascript: are removed. Up to 1,000,000 characters; files can be up to 8 MB.
