FAQ

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The watermark is written into the PDF inside your browser; the file never leaves your device.

Can I use Chinese, Japanese or Korean text?

Yes. Text in any language is rendered with your device font into a sharp transparent image, so it looks the same in every viewer. The watermark text itself is not searchable or copyable.

How do I watermark only some pages?

Enter pages such as "1-3, 5, 8-" in the page range. Leave it empty for all pages.

Which image formats work?

PNG, JPG and WebP. PNG transparency is kept, and phone photos are rotated upright automatically.

Can a watermark be removed?

A watermark is an extra layer on top of the page. It deters casual copying, but someone with PDF editing tools may still remove it. To stop people from opening the file, add an open password with Protect PDF.

Does it work on password-protected PDFs?

No. Remove the password first with Unlock PDF.
