How to use

  1. Choose or drop a .docx file.
  2. Pick a Latin font, an East Asian font and the body font size.
  3. Set line spacing and space before/after paragraphs.
  4. Turn heading and table styling on or off, and choose a color theme.
  5. Click “Format file”, then download the new .docx file.

Privacy

Files you choose and text you enter are processed in your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers and we do not store them. Some tools download the code or data they need (such as OCR language data) from this site the first time you use them.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Parsing, formatting and repackaging all happen in your browser. Your file never leaves your device.

Which files are supported?

Only .docx. Legacy .doc files and password-protected files are not supported; save the file as .docx in Word or remove the password first. For PowerPoint and Excel files, use PowerPoint Formatting Cleanup and Excel Formatting Cleanup.

Will my content change?

No. Only fonts, font sizes, line and paragraph spacing, headings, table borders and theme colors change. Text, images and equations stay the same.

What exactly is changed?

The default font, size and paragraph spacing are set for the whole document, and manually applied fonts, sizes and spacing are cleared. Headings 1–9 and Title become bold, use the theme color and are scaled by level. All tables get thin borders and a header fill.

What is the file size limit?

Up to 100 MB, with no more than 512 MB after decompression.
